Gallop is a Japanese animation studio founded on December 13, 1978 as Studio Gallop Co,. Ltd. (Japanese: 有限会社スタジオぎゃろっぷ, Yūgengaisha Sutajio Gyaroppu). On February 27, 2001, the company name was changed to its current name. Starting in 1998 with the anime Ojarumaru, the studio used digital ink and paint for the first time. Gallop is known for animating the Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters anime series, its sequels and many more.
